Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) are sophisticated technologies and sensors integrated into modern vehicles with the primary goal of enhancing safety, improving driver convenience, and reducing the risk of accidents. These systems include a variety of features such as:
Adaptive Cruise Control
Lane Departure Warning
Blind Spot Detection
Forward Collision Warning
The proper calibration of ADAS components is critical after a collision to ensure that these systems continue to function as intended. Calibration is also necessary if sensors or their surrounding areas have been damaged, if sensors are removed, or after services like wheel alignments and windshield replacement. Failure to complete a proper calibration can compromise the vehicle's safety features and may even result in injury or death.
