Project Spotlight: Dodge Charger Scat Pack Bumper Refinish

This project focused exclusively on restoring the front bumper of a Dodge Charger Scat Pack, ensuring a flawless, factory-level paint finish to match the original color.

Preparation began with meticulous surface cleaning and sanding to ensure proper adhesion. The technicians applied a primer or sealer to smooth imperfections and create an optimal base for the color. To guarantee an exact match to the vehicle’s original shade, our team utilized the state-of-the-art PPG Moonwalk paint mixing system. This advanced technology redefines our expertise in color match, ensuring the seamless blend required for high-performance vehicles.

The refinishing was performed inside one of our heated downdraft paint booths to ensure a controlled, dust-free environment. We applied multiple thin layers of the base coat (color layer) followed by the high-quality clear coat protectant to deliver gloss and durability. This multi-stage process results in an indistinguishable color transition. A final light polish delivered the desired factory texture and gloss.
